I am the owner operator of New Forest First Aid Training and deliver a variety of bespoke and regulated First Aid Courses.
My passion and energy for teaching is my driving force along with a firm belief that First Aid is a valuable life skill for everyone. I live in Ringwood, Hampshire with my husband, teenage children and our energetic labrador.
Some of my previous Paediatric & Adult nursing roles include School Nursing; Asthma, Allergy and Immunisation Research Nursing; Hospital Paediatric Units; Public Health Nursing; NHS Direct; and Brain Injury Research Nursing - some in the UK and some abroad.
My name is Jo. As well as being a First Aid & Anaphylaxis Instructor, I am a Registered Nurse and mother of two busy teenagers. I have over twenty years of clinical experience in both the primary and secondary sector, including Intensive Care and Coronary Care. I am currently working in the NHS with patients who have Long Term Conditions.
Driven to promote safe workplace practices I decided to undertake my training to teach a range of accredited 1st Aid Qualifications. Using my expertise, I will guide you through the techniques and information needed while assessing your ability to deliver 1st Aid.
