Local Company Funds Life Saving First Aid Training for The Holy Family Catholic Primary School, Adlington.

A local company to The Holy Family Catholic Primary School, Adlington has stepped forward to help equip young people with essential life-saving skills by funding hands-on first aid training for pupils.

Around 120 pupils in Years 3 to 6 will take part in practical first aid sessions delivered by New Forest First Aid Training Ltd, thanks to sponsorship from Fourfront Group. The initiative aims to ensure children gain the knowledge and confidence needed to respond in an emergency.

The training will take place on 10th March and will provide pupils with hands-on experience in key first aid skills including CPR, the recovery position, DR ABC (Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation) and how to respond effectively in an emergency situation.

Why It Matters

The programme goes beyond standard curriculum expectations, giving pupils practical skills they may one day use to save a life. Through the session, pupils will gain:

  • Practical experience performing CPR
  • Confidence to respond calmly in an emergency
  • Understanding of how to call for help and communicate clearly
  • Awareness of how their actions could protect family, friends and members of their community

To date, New Forest First Aid Training Ltd has trained thousands of pupils across the UK and continues to work towards its mission of training one million young people in life-saving first aid skills.
