Booking Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Booking for New Forest First Aid Training Courses:
- Booking and Payment
1.1 Payment must be received at least two weeks before the course date unless otherwise agreed.
1.2 Full payment is required to release certificates or evidence of course attendance.
1.3 Course fees include certification, course materials, and assessment fees. Additional physical certification may incur
an administrative charge. Payment terms and methods are detailed on our invoice. - Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a full refund minus any
administrative fees.
2.2 Cancellations made within 72 hours of the course start time will incur a £200 fee to cover administrative and trainer
costs.
2.3 Courses require a minimum number of attendees. We reserve the right to cancel and offer an alternative date or a
full refund. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible. - Course Attendance
3.1 Full attendance of all sessions is mandatory for completing the course and taking the final assessment. Failure to
attend all sessions may result in withdrawal without a refund.
3.2 Arriving late or leaving early may lead to exclusion from the course without a refund.
3.3 Full fees will be charged for non-attendance, incomplete attendance, or discontinuation of the course, including
no-shows or withdrawals due to medical issues.
3.4 Consent to temperature checks upon arrival or during training, if required, is assumed as part of attendance. - Liability
4.1 We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property during the training session.
4.2 For online courses, attendees are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and compatible device
functionality. - Code of Conduct
5.1 By booking, candidates confirm they meet course prerequisites and agree to the terms and conditions in force at the
time.
5.2 Attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward trainers and other participants.
5.3 Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the course without a refund. - Intellectual Property
6.1 Course materials provided are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without prior
written consent. - Privacy
7.1 Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. - Health and Attendance Policy
8.1 If a trainer determines a participant is unwell (physically or psychologically) and unable to continue the course
without risk to themselves or others, they may be refused entry or readmission to the training.
8.2 In such cases, we will aim to offer an alternative course date free of charge, subject to space availability 48 hours in
advance. The instructor’s decision is final. - Course Prerequisites and Fitness Requirements
9.1 Most courses require participants to have average fitness to perform practical tasks, such as kneeling, bending, and
CPR demonstrations.
9.2 A good grasp of written and spoken English is essential for completing assessments and engaging in course
activities.
9.3 Please inform us in advance of any special educational needs to allow us to provide additional support. - Programme Changes
10.1 Course content and schedules are correct at the time of printing but may be subject to change. We are not
responsible for losses arising from cancellations or changes.
